The IMPEL National Showcase, held at the U.S. DOE's Building Technologies Office annual Peer Review, gathered a remarkable group of innovators, investors, and building tech experts to discuss solutions for advancing energy security and reliability in the built environment.

Presenting IMPEL Innovators included Leila Banijamali of Symbium, whose digital permitting tools simplify energy retrofits; Ratnesh Tiwari of Next Glass, whose pioneering windows insulate as effectively as walls; Farzana Gandhi of Collective Infrastructures, who presented new infrastructure solutions to drive collective action on emissions reduction; and Suman Sinha Ray of Cabomba, who introduced HVAC filtration systems designed to be gentle on the planet.

Special thanks to Brian Walker, Nicholas Ryan, and Ram Narayanamurthy from the U.S. Department of Energy for their programmatic guidance, along with IMPEL Showcase judges Charlotte Kirk (Energy Ventures), Victoria Smith (Zacua Ventures), and Alec Wright (One Valley), for their invaluable feedback to our innovators from an investor lens.
